Currently, our Association "ARGA" is preparing a comprehensive report for the United Nations and the General Assembly of Interpol. The report aims to significantly limit the Russian Federation's ability to use Interpol for pursuing its citizens.
Objectives and Tasks of the Report:
"The Need to Restrict the Russian Federation's Abilities to Subject Individuals to International Pursuit Based on Fabricated Criminal Cases Through the Abuse of Its Capabilities"
Interpol is a supranational police organization focused on information exchange among its 195 member states, primarily through the "Red Notices" system, which is designed to alert member countries about the cross-border movement of criminals.
In recent years, it has faced increasing criticism for the misuse of the "Red Notices" system by despotic regimes, including Russia, where anti-democratic states exploit it to pursue political dissidents who are in exile or fleeing persecution, rather than individuals involved in criminal activities.
